Award winning innovative Gloucestershire based restaurant chain, The Coconut Tree, continues to buck the sector trend, implementing ambitious growth plans. Working closely with leisure property specialists Fleurets, we were instructed to acquire leases of 3 new sites as part of the Coconut Tree’s plans to expand the brand across major UK towns and cities.
Alive to the initial investment costs in opening new sites, as well as the commercial need to generate brand awareness and revenue in new locations as soon as possible, our objective was to acquire the sites swiftly and efficiently.
Our bespoke approach balanced the need to manage and mitigate legal risk, with the drive to complete the acquisitions as swiftly as possible. We ensured all Landlord’s permissions for practical alterations, as well as compliance with all regulatory requirements, helping each new restaurant to open on time and on budget.
With our specialist knowledge of the hospitality sector we also created an acquisition process which the group is now using across further acquisitions, reducing costs and management time. We’re currently instructed on the latest acquisition.
